About

PJ McDaniels is a crusty old woman with alot to say.  She is a licensed psychotherapist, a certified HR professional, a lay pastor, a trainer and motivational speaker, an avid people watcher, a mother, a “grammy”, and, some would say, a royal pain in the butt.

She has worked as a hair stylist, a child abuse investigator; a therapist; a foster parent coordinator; and an HR Director.

PJ has two grown sons, one daughter-in-law, one granddaughter, and two former husbands (who are still very good friends).  She lives with her “affectionate daughter”, 3 dogs, and a very old, cranky cat in a cozy (read small) home in Podunk Village, Ohio.

At one time PJ served as an elder, mentor/spiritual guide, and substitute preacher before making the difficult decision to leave church.  Religion was interfering with her spiritual growth…which sounds arrogant and pretentious, but is simply just the sad truth.

In her younger days, PJ drank for entertainment.  Alot.  Black Russians.  A favorite Friday evening involved a nice buzz, her drum, some good tunes, and good friends to watch.  No longer interested in torturing her liver to extinction, PJ spends much of her time reading, writing, playing with her dogs, and watching reality TV….(her guilty addiction…kinder indeed to the liver…but deadly for brain cells).

PJ can be contacted at pjblue2@yahoo.com.

    Hell-o Jack –
No, I’m not your long lost friend. But the very interesting thing is that I once knew a Jack McAllister…in Ohio in the 70’s. Life is strange.
